Lincoln Park renovation and addition, Chicago
This project is the renovation and small addition to an 1890′s townhouse in Lincoln Park, Chicago.
A new kitchen addition will push out on to an exisiting steel and concrete porch and the porch will be reconstructed to be more in keeping with the historic nature of the house.
After many, many months of attempting to convince the Zoning Department that this century old townhouse was not a single-family detached house, we have finally prevailed in the Board of Zoning Appeals and construction will begin shortly.
