A number of years ago, Pangea Organics, a Boulder-based organic bodycare products manufacturer, sponsored a competition to design a small community along the Front Range that would reflect the values and goals of the company.  Josh Onysko, the visionary founder of Pangea Organics has proposed a set of products, practices and beliefs that should become the manifesto of all companies and organizations.

we were fortunate to win the competition with a design for a small, sustainable community of solar powered duplexes and common buildings centered around a series of gray-water recycling ponds.

The process of designing the project helped to focus our work to bring all of our projects to a more sustainable and eco-friendly resolution and set us on a path to double our efforts at synthesizing green building techniques and products with great architectural design.

Although the community is unbuilt, it has found its way into all of our projects since, influencing the design of houses and businesses all over Boulder.
